Faulty Fuel Hose Responsible for Porsche Macan Recall

The premium car manufacturer Porsche have issued a recall on nearly 1,200 British registered Macan cars after complaints were made of a faulty fuel hose causing leaks in the engine. Porsche are contacting 59,000 car owners worldwide who may have been affected to arrange for safety checks to assess the fuel line and replace it where necessary. The recall will affect all petrol models registered after 2014 with recently registered cars not being affected. The repairs should not cause a major inconvenience and should take no more than one and a half hours to complete. Porsche have advised that the recall is a preventative measure and have assured that the issue has not been known to cause any accidents.
